"Imperfect" Summer Sunrise
"Imperfect" Summer Sunrise
A little mishap with the essential oil reacting with the lye, turned this Summer Sunrise bar into a dodgy colour.

French green clay is known to aid in healing minor wounds and blemishes, promoting faster recovery and reducing the risk of scarring.
Organic Turmeric Powder:
Contains antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties that can help improve pigmentation, psoriasis, acne scars, premature ageing, and sun damage, adding a wonderful glow and lustre to the skin.
Ground Dried Orange and Lemon Peel:

Essential Oils:
- Orange – has citrusy and sweet scent. Its aroma is similar to that of orange peels, but typically smells sweeter, like an Orange Grove in Summer. It can help improve your skin tone, elasticity, and hydration. It is full of antioxidants that can control the free radicals that would otherwise speed up your ageing process. It can also help heal acne, blackheads, and other skin blemishes by breaking through the oily layers of fungus or bacteria.
- Rosemary – has a fresh, herbaceous aroma, with a woody undertone. It has antimicrobial, antioxidant and antiseptic properties. Our medicinal and herb garden produces Rosemary which we infuse into our base carrier oils.
- Lavender – Offers a floral, herbaceous, soothing aroma. Can help promote mental relaxation and supports restful sleep. Calms occasional skin discomfort.
- Eucalyptus –distilled from the leaves of the eucalyptus tree it has antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. According to dermatologists, eucalyptus oil can help promote wound healing, moisturise the skin, and protect it from harmful UV rays.
- May Chang – A citrusy scented oil which has antibacterial, antifungal, and astringent properties. Helps to balance oily skin, reduce the appearance of pores, and improve overall skin texture. The oil is also known to have anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe irritated skin.

Ingredients & Their Luscious Benefits
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
WOW…..there isn’t much Olive Oil won’t do for you, well……maybe apart from taking your make-up off for you whilst you nod off into slumberland after a tough day/night at work.
Moisturises the skin: Olive oil contains squalene and vitamin E. Squalene supports the skin’s moisture retention, whereas vitamin E increases the skin’s capacity to absorb and retain water.
Reduces the signs of aging: Olive oil is rich in antioxidants. These compounds can combat oxidative stress, which is associated with skin aging. They can also increase collagen in the skin.
Helps cleanse the skin: Because like attracts like, olive oil can be used to dissolve oily residue on the skin. That said, it can be used to remove certain types of makeup—particularly waterproof products.
Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
Who doesn’t love Coconut oil? Smells and tastes delicious (if you like bounty bars like I do), and has amazing skin benefits too…..which is why you’re here.
Coconut oil is a natural emollient that can help hydrate the skin and prevent dryness, however too much of it can have the opposite effect. We have tried and tested batch after batch of soap to achieve the right balance between a hard bar, that will last longer, and a soap that will not be drying on the skin.
Unrefined Shea Butter
Shea butter is a natural fat extracted from the nut of the African Shea tree. It is rich in essential fatty acids that help moisturise and hydrate skin. It is high in vitamins A and E which are antioxidants that help slow the aging process. Shea butter has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It can boost the production of collagen and help skin look younger. Now who doesn’t want a bit of that?!
Organic Castor Oil
Rich in phytochemicals that may improve blood flow to the skin and slow skin aging by protecting against damage from the sun’s harmful UV rays. It adds a wonderful lather to soaps also, in the right quantities, whilst still allowing the other ingredients to shine also. Shine on you crazy diamond!
Organic Cocoa Butter
Get ready to butter up with cocoa butter, the silky-smooth superhero your skin has been waiting for! This luscious, chocolatey wonder is like dessert for your skin—but without the guilt. Here’s why cocoa butter is an absolute must-have in your skincare routine:
- Ultra-hydrating – Cocoa butter melts into your skin like butter on warm toast, locking in moisture and leaving you soft, smooth, and oh-so-touchable.
- Skin-soothing – Got rough patches or dry spots? Cocoa butter swoops in to the rescue, calming irritated skin and turning those dry areas into soft, velvety perfection.
- Rich in antioxidants – Packed with natural antioxidants, cocoa butter helps fight off free radicals (a.k.a. the skin villains) that can lead to signs of aging. It’s like a time machine for your skin!
- Smells amazing – With its subtle, chocolatey scent, every application feels like you’re indulging in a sweet treat—without any calories!
So, whether you’re battling dry skin or just want to feel like a buttery goddess, cocoa butter is your go-to for soft, glowing skin that smells as good as it feels.
Glycerine
Glycerine is like the unsung hero of skincare, a gentle multitasker that works quietly behind the scenes to keep your skin glowing and happy. Imagine it as a sponge that dives deep into your skin, sipping up moisture from the air and locking it in, leaving you soft and hydrated all day long. It's like a tiny moisture magnet that never quits, perfect for smoothing rough patches and banishing dryness. Plus, it’s so gentle that even sensitive skin loves it, making glycerine the perfect wingman in your quest for dewy, plump, and radiant skin!
Sweet Almond Oil
Say hello to Sweet Almond Oil, your skin’s new BFF! This silky-smooth, nutrient-packed oil is like a little bottle of sunshine for your skin, packed with all the goodness you didn’t even know you needed.
- Moisturizing Magic: Dry, flaky skin? Not anymore! Sweet almond oil swoops in to drench your skin in moisture, leaving it soft, smooth, and glowing—like you just walked out of a spa.
- Vitamin E Boost: It’s loaded with vitamin E, which is like a shield for your skin, helping to keep it healthy, happy, and youthful-looking.
- Gentle and Soothing: Got sensitive skin? No worries! This oil is super gentle, making it perfect for calming down any irritation or redness. It’s like a hug for your face!
- Lightweight Wonder: Unlike some oils that feel heavy or greasy, sweet almond oil is lightweight and fast-absorbing, so you get all the hydration without the oily shine. Win-win!
Whether you're using it to pamper your face, body, or even your hair, sweet almond oil is the MVP of all-natural beauty. It’s nourishing, soothing, and just plain fabulous.
Care Instructions
How to use:
Ready for some clean fun with your 100g bar of natural goodness? Here’s how to make the most of it:
1. **Lather up** – Wet your hands, grab the bar, and get ready for a creamy, bubbly adventure! Rub the soap between your hands and let the magic happen. You’ll be covered in soft, natural suds in no time!
2. **Cut it down to size** – Got smaller hands or want to make your bar last longer? No problem! Just slice that soap into smaller pieces—perfect for kiddos, travel, or when you just want a cute little bar for easy grip.
3. **Soap on a mission** – Use it for your body, hands, face (Simply Pure soap only)—wherever you need a little extra freshness and moisture. Its all-natural ingredients are gentle and perfect for everyday use!
4. **Keep it dry** – Between uses, pop your soap on a dish or rack to keep it dry and long-lasting. The drier, the better—so it’s ready to rock next time you need it!
So go ahead, lather, rinse, and enjoy every bit of your soap bar! It’s the little bar with BIG moisturizing power. 🧼✨
Precautions
For external use only!
Ready for some soapy fun with a little safety sparkle? Here’s what you need to know when using your natural soap bar:
1. **Patch test, bestie!** – Even though natural soaps are full of love and goodness, everyone's skin is different. So, before diving into a full lather, try a little patch test first to make sure your skin is as happy as can be!
2. **Essential oil alert** – Our natural soaps may have some lovely essential oils, but remember: not all oils are created equal. Some can be a bit strong for sensitive skin. So, if you’ve got delicate skin or you’re prone to reactions, make sure to check the ingredient list and do a test patch to keep things smooth.
3. **Keep away from peepers** – Essential oils can be a little *too* zesty for your eyes, so keep those suds far from your peepers. No one likes a soapy surprise!
4. **Storage tip!** – Natural soaps love to stay dry between uses. Keep them on a soap dish or a rack to make sure they stay firm and last longer.
5. **Sensitive noses and skin?** – If you or anyone in your home has a sensitive nose or skin, it’s good to be cautious with strong essential oil scents. Stick to the gentler, unscented varieties if needed—still all the clean, minus the extra oomph!
Stay safe, smell fabulous, and let your natural soap bar work its magic, the right way! 🧼🌿✨
